At TheFairPlay.org, we advocate for disadvantaged members of our society. We are proud to present Minutes for Merits --- a program to help disadvantaged students gain fair access to college education.
We are partnering with the Academy for Advanced Study to offer minimal cost test prep lessons.

Standardized tests such as SAT and ACT give unfair advantages to students with access to test prep services. One of the main unfair advantages gained by these students is to enable them complete the tests faster than usually poorer students without access to the test prep services.
We are asking SAT/ACT to reduce the number of questions and/or extend the test time.
Access to quality college education is an important step in one’s personal and professional development. The disadvantages suffered by the usually poorer students who do not have access to test prep services significantly reduces their access to college education. This inequality unfairly constrains social mobility. Eventually, the entire society will suffer.
